What is BookmarkHub?
BookmarkHub helps you stop keeping dozens of tabs open. Save your important tabs and bookmarks into tidy, named topics and load them later on any computer.
Your workspace lives on a fast web dashboard. Log in with your email from anywhere, restore exactly what you need, and keep your browser uncluttered. The optional Tab Exporter extension can capture all open tabs for quick import.
How it works
1) Save your tabs: Open the dashboard and add links manually, paste a list of URLs, or import using a file from the browser add-on. Give the collection a clear name (for example: Thesis Research, Trip to Japan) and save.
2) Load on any computer: Visit the dashboard on another device, pick a saved collection, and restore the tabs you need.
3) Keep things tidy: Edit collections anytime—add or remove links, rename sets, or archive old ones.
Using the browser add-ons
Supporting add-ons can capture all open tabs from your browser and export them to a small file. Then, on the dashboard, use Upload / Import to load that file into a new or existing collection.
Typical flow: Install the add-on → capture tabs → export to file → go to the dashboard → click Upload / Import → review → save.
Import / upload guide
Step 1: In your browser, use the add-on to export all open tabs (usually creates a .json or .txt file).
Step 2: Open the dashboard and press Upload / Import.
Step 3: Select your exported file and confirm. You'll see the captured links to review and save.
Tips
- Create focused collections (Work, University, Reading List, Weekend Planning) so each restore stays lightweight.
- Use short, descriptive titles so you can spot a collection quickly.
- Archive rarely used sets—you can unarchive or duplicate later.
FAQ
Do I have to keep the site open? No. Save a collection and close your tabs. Load it again whenever you need.
Can I use it across computers? Yes. Open the dashboard anywhere and load your saved collections.
How do large sessions work? For big sets, use the add-on export + dashboard upload for faster, more reliable importing.
Features

Using the deployed version
1) Open the Vercel URL in any browser: https://tabookmark.vercel.app/dashboard
2) Sign up with your email address.
3) Confirm your email (check your inbox).
4) Log in - your bookmark library is ready.
Note: You do not need to install anything to use the web app. The browser extension is optional (for exporting open tabs).
Browser Extension — Tab Exporter
The extension exports every currently open tab as a bookmark HTML file. Then import that file into BookmarkHub.
Installation (load unpacked)
Chrome / Edge / Vivaldi / Opera GX
- Open chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions, etc.)
- Enable Developer mode
- Click Load unpacked
- Select the extension/ folder from the repository
Opera
- Open opera://extensions
- Enable Developer mode
- Click Load unpacked and select the extension/ folder
DuckDuckGo
DuckDuckGo's desktop browser does not support third-party extensions and has no "Bookmark all tabs" option, so exporting open tabs is not possible. You can still import your saved bookmarks — see the Importing Bookmarks section below.
Usage (Tab Exporter)
1) Click the BookmarkHub icon in the browser toolbar.
2) Choose scope: All windows or Current window.
3) Choose grouping: Window, Domain, None - or Workspace (Opera only, appears automatically when workspaces are detected).
4) Click Export N Tabs as HTML - the file downloads automatically.
5) In BookmarkHub click Import and upload the file.
Opera Workspace support
If you use Opera workspaces, the extension detects them automatically and shows a Workspace grouping button. Each workspace becomes a separate folder in the exported HTML. When you import that file into BookmarkHub, each folder is mapped to a topic with the same name; new topics are created automatically if they don't exist yet.
Importing bookmarks from your browser
Chrome: Bookmarks Manager (Ctrl+Shift+O) -> menu (three dots) -> Export bookmarks.
Edge: Favourites sidebar -> menu -> Manage favourites -> Export favourites.
Firefox: Bookmarks menu -> Manage Bookmarks -> Import/Backup -> Export Bookmarks to HTML.
Opera: Bookmarks -> Import/Export -> Export.
Opera GX: Bookmarks -> Import/Export -> Export.
Vivaldi: Vivaldi menu -> File -> Import/Export -> Export Bookmarks.
DuckDuckGo: Settings menu -> Bookmarks -> Export Bookmarks.
Then in BookmarkHub
1) Click Import in the top bar.
2) Drop or browse for the .html file.
3) If the file contains folders, you will be in "Map folders to topics" mode automatically - assign each folder to an existing topic or create a new one.
4) Click Import (N bookmarks).
